This Training DVD will help your ministry prepare a foundation for the Insight Group-Empowering Kids for Life. It will also train group facilitators to lead children through each group session. Jean Brunson, who adapted the Insight Group for children ages 8-11, leads the training. She provides important information that will help the facilitator in preparation.
Jean utilized object lessons in each session, which helps the children visualize the learning content. On the DVD, the group participants are adults (who work with children's ministries) who play the role of children.
The DVD also features Lois Lofton, of Kids Living Free, and her friend Liberty (the puppet) for each session in which Liberty appears. This is helpful for those who prefer to use the puppet by DVD instead of live or for the facilitator to use as a training tool on ways to present the puppet.
The DVD contains an Introduction, 13 Facilitator Sessions and 13 Liberty Sessions.
